Today, 30th November, on the BBC Website news our anti slip boards are shown as part of an amazing project to build a temporary Railway Station at Workington after the recent floods disrupted communications by destroying many local bridges. Booker Timber Ltd was approached by the contractor last week to supply a large number of boards for the surface of the platforms. They were the anti slip, slip resistant type for health and Safety requirements. We were able to source from stock at a moments notice. We are very proud to be associated with such an exciting project helping to make the lives of those people in that area a little easier. As seen on TV!

The station has been a big hit with people in the area. Now by using the railway system they are avoiding long and tedious diversions by road.
