Yesterday a new customer in London rang to thank us for our service. The order was cut to size MDF sheets with some routered shapes. They were impressed with our accuracy of cutting and routering, as well as our standard of packaging. The goods were strapped to a pallet covered in plastic film and labelled. The goods were delivered on time. A Nationwide service to be proud of.

We can v-groove and bead MR (moisture resistant) boards to produce cladding panels.

These are ideal to cover walls or ceilings, especially if they are unsightly, the result is an easily maintained surface with a tongue and groove effect.

They are commonly used in bathrooms and give a warm effect after being painted, their consistancy gives a neat clean appearance.

Normal solid wood match board shrinks but our panels are much more stable.

Painting is easier due to the presanded surface providing a more consistant surface than solid wood and of course no knots!

We can just produce a simple v- groove or a v- groove either side of a bead. We can vary the direction either long or short grain. We can vary the distance apart of each groove to suit the size of the space you are cladding.

Typically we use 6mm thick MR MDF in 2440mm x 1220mm but can accommodate boards / panels of 3050mm x 1220mm. If you require thicker MDF no problem just talk to us and we can advise what is available.

Plywood sheets  of 18mm 8′ x 4′ sheets of WBP plywood with a lot of 5 inch holes. Popular with allotment gardeners for segregation and growing runner beans  on. We are able to CNC machine good quality plywood such as Birch plywood, so that the sheets can slot together by routering a tongue and groove edge.

 The specification can be altered to suit your requirements. For example if you require to dismantle the sheets at a later date, you may wish not to have a tight fitting joint so will require greater tolerance. You may wish to sand down the top surface at a later date, so you will require the centre of the tongue and groove to be lower. We can advise you on the best options to suit your requirements.

In our CNC machining department we get asked for some unusual work. For example the photo shows one of many doors produced by our CNC Router for pigeon lofts!

Pigeon Loft Door

 This particular door is shaped from MDF and has a groove cut in the upper and lower edge to allow a sliding action. We also CNC Router and cut intricate flat pack pigeon loft  kits out of birch plywood which are shipped all over the world.
